2) Individual Component: 10 Credits
The ten (10) credits required for the individual component are flexible but must be directly related to EMS patient care. Students obtains these on their own.

National requirements
Mandatory for all EMR, EMT, AEMT, Paramedics
Below are also the required refresher courses you need if you failed the national exam after three attempts.
